OBJECTIVE:

Making Magic takes a team! Work together to design and illustrate a unique Magic card.

GET READY:

Open a booster, remove all non- Magic cards and shuffle the rest. Have one player be an artist and another be a writer, then the remaining players will be designers.

LET'S PLAY:

The designers take turns filling out the different parts of a card with pen and paper. To determine these, they draw a random card from the pack, pick one of the categories, and copy it from the card (if it's missing the category you want, draw another). The designers continue until these are all filled in:

• Casting Cost

• Card Type

• Card Text

• Power & Toughness (if the card has a type that requires it)

Next, the artist draws what they think the card would look like. Finally, the writer gives the card a name and flavor text to bring it all together and finish the card. Rotate roles until everyone has had the chance to be an artist and writer.

TO WIN:

Once each player has had a chance to play each role, present your created cards. Players vote to nominate their favorites for the following categories: most powerful, least functional, and most flavorful.

Due to the nature of sealed product in the TCG industry, we do not offer returns on opened product. If you are not happy with your purchase, we will accept a return of an unused product within 7 days. Once we receive the returned item (in good condition) Knightly Gaming Pty Ltd will then give a refund (excluding shipping as we are unable to refund the initial shipping cost of your order). 

Return & Refund Policy

At Knightly Gaming, we want you to be happy with your purchase. Please read our policy carefully before placing your order.

Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns of unused, unopened products in original condition within 7 days of delivery, subject to the exclusions below.

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Opened sealed TCG product (booster boxes, booster packs, ETBs, tins, etc.)
  • Single cards
  • Discounted or sale items
  • Products purchased through third-party retailers or distributors

How to Return an Item

To initiate a return, contact us at info@knightlygaming.co.za within 7 days of receiving your order. We will provide return instructions.

Returned items must be:

  • Unused and in original packaging
  • In the same condition as received

We recommend using an insured, trackable shipping service for your return. Knightly Gaming is not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund within 5–7 business days. Please note that original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us at info@knightlygaming.co.za within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.

Order Cancellations

Cancellations can be requested prior to shipment and are subject to a 8% cancellation fee, which covers the non-refundable payment processing fee charged on the original transaction. This fee will be deducted from the refunded amount.

Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled.

Pre-Order Cancellations

Pre-orders may be cancelled up to 7 days before the estimated dispatch date. Cancellations requested within 7 days of dispatch are subject to the standard 6% cancellation fee. Once a pre-order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.

Unsuitable Returns

If a returned item arrives in an unsuitable condition (opened, damaged, or not in original packaging), we reserve the right to return it to you at your cost.
