OBJECTIVE:
Tell the best horror story you can, using the cards in your booster as inspiration.
Get Ready:
Open a booster for each player and remove any ad, token, and art cards. Then sort the cards into separate pules for double-faced cards (DFCs), single-sided creature and planeswalker cards, land cards, and all other noncreature cards. Shuffle the piles and place each of them face down.

LET'S PLAY:
Go through the beats of the story below in order, revealing a card from the top of the specified pile or taking the specified action. Tell a story as you go. After a player tells a bit of the story for a beat, it's the next player's turn for the next story beat. If there are no cards of the requested type, players can make something up.

Introduction
• Setting: a land
• The characters: three creatures/planeswalkers
• Why the characters are at the location: a noncreature card
• The monster the characters face: a DFC card

Action
• The characters make a critical mistake: a noncreature card
• The first to die: choose one of the three characters
• How the monster kills the first character: a noncreature card.
• The hero: choose one of the two remaining characters
• Describe the monster's weakness/secret/motivation and how the hero discovered it: a noncreature card or creature/planeswalker card

Resolution
• Confronting the monster: a noncreature card
• The lone survivor: choose one of the two characters
• Ending: Create this yourself! How did the second character die? Did the monster survive? Was it all worth it?

TO WIN:
After the story's been told, assign the following awards by popular vote to players: Scariest, Funniest, and Most Exciting. Feel free to invent your own awards as well. In the case of a tied vote fo the winner of an award, randomly determine its winner.

Due to the nature of sealed product in the TCG industry, we do not offer returns on opened product. If you are not happy with your purchase, we will accept a return of an unused product within 7 days. Once we receive the returned item (in good condition) Knightly Gaming Pty Ltd will then give a refund (excluding shipping as we are unable to refund the initial shipping cost of your order). 

Return & Refund Policy

At Knightly Gaming, we want you to be happy with your purchase. Please read our policy carefully before placing your order.

Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns of unused, unopened products in original condition within 7 days of delivery, subject to the exclusions below.

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Opened sealed TCG product (booster boxes, booster packs, ETBs, tins, etc.)
  • Single cards
  • Discounted or sale items
  • Products purchased through third-party retailers or distributors

How to Return an Item

To initiate a return, contact us at info@knightlygaming.co.za within 7 days of receiving your order. We will provide return instructions.

Returned items must be:

  • Unused and in original packaging
  • In the same condition as received

We recommend using an insured, trackable shipping service for your return. Knightly Gaming is not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund within 5–7 business days. Please note that original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us at info@knightlygaming.co.za within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.

Order Cancellations

Cancellations can be requested prior to shipment and are subject to a 8% cancellation fee, which covers the non-refundable payment processing fee charged on the original transaction. This fee will be deducted from the refunded amount.

Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled.

Pre-Order Cancellations

Pre-orders may be cancelled up to 7 days before the estimated dispatch date. Cancellations requested within 7 days of dispatch are subject to the standard 6% cancellation fee. Once a pre-order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.

Unsuitable Returns

If a returned item arrives in an unsuitable condition (opened, damaged, or not in original packaging), we reserve the right to return it to you at your cost.
