At Knightly Gaming, Magic: The Gathering has always been close to our hearts, but 2026 has been a different beast entirely. Since January, we've been steadily growing our MTG offering across three fronts — Pre-Orders, MTG Sealed product, and MTG Singles — and the response from our community has been nothing short of incredible.
From Humble Beginnings to a Full-Blown MTG Hub
We kicked off 2026 quietly, but the momentum built fast. Month after month, order volumes have climbed, units moved have increased, and the variety of product we're able to offer has expanded significantly. By mid-year we were already seeing strong consistent growth — and August has been our biggest month yet with no signs of slowing down.
Our three MTG pillars each tell their own story:
- Pre-Orders have become our biggest revenue driver by far. The fact that so many of you are willing to pay upfront for product that hasn't even landed yet tells us one thing clearly: you trust us. That's a relationship we don't take lightly, and we'll keep earning it with every drop.
- MTG Singles is our highest-volume category — hundreds of orders and thousands of units moved since January. Whether you're chasing a competitive staple or a foil for your binder, the demand has been consistent and growing every month.
- MTG Sealed rounds out the experience for those who love the thrill of cracking packs. Selection is expanding and we're bringing in more sealed product as our distributor relationships deepen.
The Trend Line is Clear
From a handful of orders in January to our strongest month ever in August — the trajectory across all three categories has been consistently upward. Order counts are up, units per order are up, and repeat customers are becoming a bigger part of our base. The MTG community in South Africa is showing up, and we're here for it.

We're not stopping here. Expect more pre-order drops, deeper Singles inventory, and a growing Sealed lineup as we continue building direct relationships with distributors.
