Smashing the planes of Kamigawa and Ikoria together, this is Magic's in-universe Pacific Rim moment — massive mechs versus equally colossal monsters, and the MTG community is already hyped beyond belief.

Release Date & Prerelease
Kamigawa: Titanbreach releases on June 4th, 2027, with prerelease events (the real date MTG players care about, since this is when the set becomes Standard-legal) kicking off on May 28th, 2027.
Spoiler season, debut, and first look dates haven't been officially announced yet, but if past trends hold, the debut should land around May 11th, 2027. For the first look, all eyes are on MagicCon: Detroit (February 26–28, 2027) — that's the most likely window for early reveals.
What We Know About the Set
The premise alone is enough to get any MTG fan's blood pumping. For the first time ever, Magic's massive creatures and vehicles collide head-on. The sky over Kamigawa is literally tearing open — Omenpath shenanigans, most likely — sending Ikoria's titans crashing into the plane. The result? The biggest conflict Magic has ever staged, in every sense of the word.
Wizards has been clear that this isn't just spectacle for spectacle's sake. Beyond the mechs and monsters, the set will explore the citizens of both planes and the real impact this incursion has on them — so expect genuine depth alongside the carnage.
On the product side, Kamigawa: Titanbreach will include four Commander preconstructed decks, confirmed during the full 2027 reveal panel at MagicCon: Amsterdam.
